About this site
This is an independent, third-party guide that helps people find the official downloads and GitHub repositories for the 13 free open-source alternatives in the ArtCraft suite. **We are not official, and we are not part of the ArtCraft team.**
Where we draw the line: we only organize, translate, categorize and link out. Copyright in every piece of software belongs to its original authors and projects. Always download through official channels; this site does not provide or distribute any installers or cracked resources.
How we work
- Stars are checked for real: each project's star / fork counts are pulled from the GitHub API by a script and refreshed daily. The "data updated" date on the page is the date of the last successful pull; if a pull fails we neither clear the cache nor move the date forward.
- Status comes from official repositories: labels such as alpha / early alpha / pre-alpha / "in development" all come from the official self-description in each project's README. We do not reinterpret them.
- Every app has its own detail page: feature comparison table, the project's own assessment of maturity and limitations, download and repository links, and test results (where we have run them).
- Facts and recommendations are kept separate: what the official docs say is marked separately from what we tested ourselves. If the official docs don't say it, we don't write it for them.
What we don't do
- We do not provide cracks, modified builds, keygens or "activation tutorials";
- We do not mirror downloads or redistribute software;
- We do not pass off unreleased internal features as shipped;
- We do not call something that merely "runs" a "replacement" — most projects are still early-stage, so keep the original software for professional, heavy-duty workflows.
Corrections and updates
Spotted an error (dead link, wrong status label, clearly wrong star count, inaccurate feature description)? Tell us directly:

We usually verify and handle reports within 1–3 days. Status data (stars, versions, official doc changes) is updated by script; wording errors are fixed by hand.

- Static site hosted on Cloudflare Pages (no server, no database)
- Star-refresh script + GitHub API; the build is reproducible
- No cookies, no user profiling, no cross-site tracking
