Privacy Policy
In one sentence: **we use no cookies, do no profiling and no cross-site tracking. Only two things are stored: the email you choose to give us, and an anonymous usage counter (a random device ID with no identity data).** Details below, including third-party ads.
1. What we collect
Only the two things you choose to give. There is no login, no account and no comment system. ①Email subscription: only the address you type into the subscribe box, used solely to tell you about new releases and new tools; reply to any email to unsubscribe. ②Anonymous usage count: the online app pages create a random device ID in your browser and record which app was opened on which day, to measure active users and return rate. No IP, no User-Agent, no email, nothing tied to your identity, and no cross-site tracking.
Server logs for this site are retained by our hosting provider, Cloudflare, for security and operations (IP, request time, User-Agent and similar). The logs are not used for profiling and are not shared with third parties. As an EU/UK hosting provider, Cloudflare handles its logs under its own privacy policy and DPA.
2. Cookies and local storage
The site itself sets no cookies. Local storage is used for exactly two things: remembering the last tool you opened (so you can resume), and the anonymous device ID described above. Both stay in your browser; clearing site data removes them. Third-party ads may set their own cookies (see the next section).
3. Ads and third parties
This site uses Google AdSense to display ads. That means some ads are served by Google, which may use cookies or similar technologies for delivery and measurement; that processing is governed by Google's privacy policy:
- How Google uses ad cookies from this site: policies.google.com/technologies/ads
- Google's explanation of advertising cookies: policies.google.com/technologies/ads/ads-cookie
- How to manage Google ad personalization: adssettings.google.com ("Ad settings" in your Google account)
You can limit these cookies with your browser's privacy settings or an ad-blocking extension. Ads may not display properly if you do, but the site still works (we do not rely on ads for any functionality).
When advertisers buy through Google, they may use this page's URL as "advertising information" (such as the Referer). We do not participate in, control or sell any user data.
4. Third-party links
The download and GitHub links on this site point to external sites (each project's official website and GitHub repository). **Those sites are run independently by third parties with their own data practices, and we are not responsible for them.** Once you leave this site, their privacy policies apply.
5. Minors
This site does not knowingly collect any information from minors. If you are under the legal age where you live and have concerns about visiting this site, please contact hi@cosmocat.dev.
6. Your rights and how to reach us
Because we do not collect personal information, there is in principle no personal data to export, correct or delete. If you interacted with this site through Google ads, that data is handled by Google under its privacy policy; you can manage it at adssettings.google.com or contact Google directly.
If you have questions about this policy, or find the site collecting information (that would be a bug we need to fix), email hi@cosmocat.dev and we will reply within 7 business days.
7. Changes
If this policy changes materially (for example, if the site later adds a third-party feature that needs data), we will update the "last updated" date on this page and give prominent notice on the homepage before the change takes effect.
